I was pleased with my first visit till my last! I went in for eye lid surgery consultation in November and I really wanted the surgery be completed before 2017 since my insurance covered the procedure. The girls in his office were able to get everything approved quickly and I made it. My results were above and beyond my expectation. I look amazing and natural. Most people get a brow lift and Dr. Laquis said I would not need it was the best decision for me. He was correct!

Dr Laquis and his team are amazing. I had some “scary to me” skin cancer on my eyelid found by my dermatologist, I was referred to Dr. Laquis. He saw me within a week and got me in quickly for the surgery then recovery was a snap, I did listen well and stayed away from golf and tennis for 2 weeks (that was hard for me, but so worth it). Just never thought I would have my eyes done….I should have seen this wonderful Doctor years ago. Not only is my vision improved but my entire outlook at feeling more confident to look my best is over the top. Not only is Dr. Laquis an excellent plastic surgeon for typical eye lifts with mine turning out beautifully but, he is a champion with extraordinary procedures. 4 years later, from Graves Disease, my “beautiful” eyes protruded and besides looking dreadful, were tremendously sensitive to light. He first performed the least invasive by stitching my outer eyelids. That wasn’t good enough so he grafted synthetic cartilage inside my lower lids. Success! My eyes are now “pretty!”

I had surgery for my upper eyelids. Only 12 days ago. Dr. Laquis and his staff were amazing. I work in a big hospital and had to return to work on the fourth day post op. People could not believe I just had surgery. Got a lot of complements on how great the incision look and the fact that I had no bruising. He def has a magic touch! I am diabetic, & the morning I arrived for my upper & lower eyelid surgery my sugar was extremely high. Instead of sending me home, the holding nurse at the surgery center worked to get my sugar lowered. After about 1 1/2 hrs., she got my sugar down so Dr. Laquis could do the surgery. The operation was painless & my recovery has been remarkable. After 2 wks. my discoloration is gone. Surgery was very quick and virtually painless. Dramatic results as my peripheral vision had been impacted. A couple of weeks of minor swelling and tightness is the extent of discomfort. I think postop instructions using ice and drops for irritation was key. 3 weeks after surgery friends raved about the difference and thought I just had pink eye shadow on! I went to Dr. Laquis based on the referral from my eye doctor for eyelid surgery. Both he and his staff are very pleasant, accommodating and professional. I live in Naples, so I chose to be picked up for my surgery which was to take place in Ft. Myers. I was picked up at 6:45 AM and was back home by 10:00 AM. I had the best experience going in to see Dr. Laquis! The staff was great and so very kind. Dr. Laquis was so up beat and very professional. I was referred to him by another doctor to look at something on my eyelid. He found basil cell and removed it all so quickly it was over before I knew what happened. I’m so relieved!!! I was referred to Dr. Laquis by my ophthalmologist aftet he got the results of a CT scan. I was able to see Dr laquis the same week . He set up a biopsy ASAP, called me himself after the biopsy to check how I was, and also called me when he got the results. He explained everything in detail through patient-doctor relationship and his staff did the same. They also arranged for my pickup and to bring me home after the biopsy. I was referred to a medical oncologist to continue my treatment. I wish all doctors and staffs would treat their patients with as much respect as I was treated.

Dr. Laquis was especially helpful during a difficult time for me. He personally called me a couple of times to see how I was feeling and healing after a biopsy. He referred me to an excellent medical oncologist for a follow-up. He also explained everything he did before he get it and put me at ease.
